The DreamStation Go Auto Travel APAP machine from Philips Respironics makes mobile sleep apnea therapy a convenient, real-world reality. Featuring auto-adjusting pressure settings, the DreamStation Go Auto delivers the benefits of a standard APAP machine but in a compact, travel-friendly package. Representing the latest in Philips Respironics’ sleep therapy technology, the DS Go Auto offers a slew of advanced features, as well as an accessory lithium-ion battery for up to 13 hours of cordless operation. You don’t have to compromise comfort or performance from your mobile Auto-PAP therapy when you choose the DreamStation Go Auto.

Note: The SoClean is not recommended for use on the following Philips machines: DreamStation CPAP/APAP, DreamStation BiPAP, DreamStation Go CPAP/Auto, System One (Q Series), Dorma 400/500 CPPA, REMStar SE Auto CPAP, DreamStation ASV, DreamStation ST/AVAPS, System One ASV4, C Series ASV/S/T/AVAPS, Trilogy 100/200, Garbin Plus/Aeries/LifeVent or A-Series BiPAP V30 Auto, E30, OmniLab Advanced Plus, and A-Series BiPAP Hybrid A30/A40. This does not affect the DreamStation 2, Trilogy Evo/Evo OBM/EV300/202, BiPAP A40 EFL/Pro, M-Series, Omnilab, Dorma 100/200, or the REMStar SE.

From Philips: For patients using affected BiLevel PAP and CPAP devices: Discontinue use of your device and work with your physician or Durable Medical Equipment (DME) provider to determine the most appropriate options for continued treatment. To continue the use of your device due to a lack of alternatives, consult with your physician to determine if the benefit of continuing therapy with your device outweighs the risks identified in the recall notification.

  • Flex pressure relief settings and Flex modes automatically ease breathing transitions for improved comfort and patient compliance
  • Adjustable Smart Ramp gradually increases pressure to prescribed setting
  • Easy-to-read color touchscreen display
  • Bluetooth connected for easy compatibility with Philips Respironics DreamMapper app
  • Approved for air travel and inflight use by FAA
  • Convenient USB charging port to power-up mobile phone or tablet
  • Full-sized Performance in Mini APAP Package

The DreamStation Go Auto is half the size of Philips Respironics’ full-sized DreamStation flagship, but its compact dimensions (5.9 x 5.9 x 2.3 inches) and light weight (1.86 pounds) don’t mean it skimps on performance or advanced features. The DreamStation Go Auto administers auto-adjusting PAP therapy for pressures ranging between 4 and 20 cm H2O, fulfilling the performance demands required by the majority of obstructive sleep apnea prescriptions.

As an APAP (AutoPAP) machine, the DreamStation Go Auto adjusts pressure flow automatically based on the patient’s immediate needs. As such, the DS Go Auto is more flexible than standard fixed-pressure PAP machines, like its DreamStation Go CPAP sibling (although the Go Auto can be set to a fixed CPAP pressure if so desired). The DreamStation Auto sources the same Flex relief technology featured on Philips’ standard-sized DreamStation and System One machines. Flex relief modulates pressure flow based on the patient’s breathing pattern, slightly decreasing pressure at the beginning of exhalation. This subtle shift in pressure makes for a more natural breathing sensation, with pressure resistance during exhalation a common distraction for light sleepers or patients with higher pressure settings.

The DreamStation Go APAP utilizes several more auto-adjusting advanced features, like Smart Ramp, which helps ease patients into sleep by beginning PAP therapy at a lower pressure before gradually ramping up to the full prescription setting. The Ramp pressure settings are adjustable, along with the transition duration from 0 to 45 minutes. The DS Go Auto also adjust automatically to elevation changes, ensuring your therapy runs efficiently wherever you may roam.

    Integrated Battery Power Option

A highlight feature on the DreamStation Go is its integrated lithium-ion battery. The optional DreamStation Go Travel Battery can easily power a full night of therapy, with Philips claiming up to 13 hours of performance on a single charge (based on a 10 cm H2O pressure setting). The lithium-ion battery pack fits directly into the DreamStation Go Auto machine and recharges when plugged into an AC power source, with Philips claiming a full recharge time between 4 and 5 hours. The DreamStation Go battery finally gives patients a viable option for off-the-grid APAP therapy, as extra battery packs can power multiple nights of cordless therapy.

    Lightweight, Flexible 12mm Tubing

The DreamStation Go includes a flexible 12mm hose – the smallest diameter and lightest CPAP tubing developed by Philips. The DreamStation Go Micro Flex 12mm Hose comes as standard equipment in a six-foot length, however, the DS Go also offers settings to accommodate larger 15mm or 22mm tubing options.

Sleek, User-Friendly Design with DreamMapper App

The DreamStation Go Auto is a truly modern design, incorporating a color touchscreen interface and built-in Bluetooth connectivity. It’s smart phone-like features make old-school CPAP machines seem like rotary phones by comparison. The DS Go color touchscreen display makes it easy for patients to tap and scroll their way through intuitive menus as they select from the wide variety of setting options. The DreamStation Go Auto’s standard Bluetooth provides easy integration with the Philips Respironics DreamMapper app. Thanks to the convenient DreamMapper patients can track and sync their therapy data from multiple devices, accessed online through their phone or tablet.

    Sleep Therapy Designed for Travel

The DreamStation Go APAP’s diminutive size and weight make it easy to stow away for travelers, but Philips added even more features to make it a travel-friendly design. The DS Go’s integrated USB charging port lets travelers power up a mobile device, like their phone or tablet. And the Go also utilizes an integrated AC power supply. This last feature may not sound that convenient unless you’ve traveled with a laptop and its heavy, hard-to-stow power cord/adaptor assembly. Another DS Go travel bonus is FAA approval for air travel and clearance for in-flight use (while approved by the FAA, individual airlines determine their own rules for use of CPAP devices during flight). Philips also designed the accessory DreamStation Go Travel Cases, available in two sizes (Small/Medium) to streamline packing your travel CPAP machine and equipment.
